Pacific Coast has long encouraged and supported employee philanthropic activities, contributing money for fundraising campaigns and making contributions to numerous charities each year. In 1999, the board of directors formalized its philanthropic program with the creation of Pacific Coast Charities (PC Charities).
PC Charities focuses on charities in communities that the company serves with an emphasis on children in need. It also funds a scholarship program for children and grandchildren of Pacific Coast’s current and retired employees. In its first four years, the program assisted 16 students.
PC Charities supports education, kids at risk, and programs for troubled children. Other programs include our Adopt-A-Family where families in need are provided gifts and food during the holiday season.
